Cursed City Done ...

Image
Well, a mild drop-out on posting - my fault there, no excuses. But I finally finished the selection of models from The Cursed City set. And, considering that they're probably the newest range I've painted from Gamesworkshop for a bit, I was impressed with the look of them; some great character! You can see a few more photos on my Instagram feed and my Flickr page, should you wish. Hope you like.

Progress II: More Feudal Japan, Torgillius ...

Another quick update from the painting desk. Torgillius is done, and the next out the box is a 'goodie' this time; Dagnai Holdenstock. A nice steampunk aestetic going on with this one, so lots of brass, copper - should be fun. As you can see, I've also finished a couple of Bad Squiddo 'Shin-whackers' (trainee bugeisha) for the Feudal Japan set. Next on the list there are a set of Onna-Musha.

Progress - The Cursed City & Feudal Japan ...

Made a start on The Cursed City commission with the grizzled warrior, Radukar the Wolf! Reasonably pleased with the way he turned out. I've also finished another two models from the Feudal Japan set; two Onna-bugeisha. As you can see, I've now started the prep on the next few - some trainee onna-bugeisha and, for The Cursed City, Torgillius the Chamberlain.

Early start - Radukar & Onna-bugeisha

Quickie post! A heads-up on a couple of commissions I'm currently working on. One is a set of Feudal Japan models from Bad Squiddo Games; started a few already, which I typed about in a previous post, and the other a set from Games Workshop The Cursed City. So two very different genres. I'm certainly intruiged by the Cursed City figures, as I haven't painted any Warhammer for a bit. Starting out on Radukar the Wolf - a nice sculpt, but need to do some spruce clean-up and filling. Regardless, there should be some more interesting updates soon. As you can see, I need to do some clean-up and filling. I'll be posting various updates over the next few weeks to document the progress.
