A Quick-post ...
Apart from an ongoing commission of a wonderfully eclectic selection of models (from Conan to Greeks to Long-sword Crusaders!), I'm also working through some Black Scorpion Old West Civilians. These are great sculpts and have some real character to them, which makes them a pleasure to paint.
Speaking of character, I had a quick sort through my humble lead mountain and found a set of figures that I've have sitting around for a bit. A group of robed Legendary Sensei minis from CP Models.
As you can see from the photo below they have a wonderfully surreal edge to them. This particular figure is called Inugami - a Japanese Dog God, but has the potential for some real variation when it comes to painting.
Jumping back to the start of this post, I've been painting a few more Conan (board game) figures; a few more monsters and creatures this time. Again, this range has some beautiful looking sculpts. Here an evil Corrupted wolf and an equally grim Swamp Devil.
I'll sign off now with the usual musings of posting more regularly, but I'd take that with a pinch of salt.
Hope you had a reasonably good Christmas and (hopefully) a much brighter new year!
