Throwback Thursday ...

Sorting through some old photos on the comp and found a few pictures from 2018-19 of some of my favourite model from Lucid Eye , so thought I'd post a short #throwbackthursday. Hypnocrat This guy is from a set of quite surreal characters called The Hypnocrats. So many options for them regarding colours, and I wanted a futuristic/60s psychedelic look. This particular model also reminded me of Ringo Starr - an added bonus. Barrow Queen This model had such a weirdly creepy look - like something from a late70s Hammer film - that I had to get it to paint. Although there wasn't masses of delicate detail, the vast robe lends itself to simple block colour or, if one feels more adventurous, some free-hand painting. Regardless, an imposing figure.
