I was recently lucky enough to be asked to paint a few more models for Annie of Bad Squiddo Games. Something a little different this time ... angry Mushroom Men and the mysterious, long-lived Old Man 'shroom! Annie asked for specific colours and the sculpts ( by Al Maguire ) have some great detail to them and - of course - were a pleasure to paint. You can find the Mushroom Ladz here -

Having become ever more frustrated with Facebook and its regular talent of making even the simplest of tasks a chore, I'm (once again) determined to post more stuff here on the humble blog. I know that it really doesn't get the same number of views as Facebook, but if people stumble upon this ramshackle excuse for a blog and like the pictures and forego the ranting, I'll be more than happy. Right. Stuff. While this particular post will be a bit of a mess, with models from a selection of recent projects, I do intend to post more concise posts as I go on. I also - for the princesses - decided to move away from the more traditional brighter, sparkly look, and went for a darker moody red and black (dark grey) scheme and a green, Gaelic warrior to the other. The plaid/check took two goes, but pretty pleased with how all the patterns turne...

Well, we're at the third and final part of this Hasslefree group. The last few models, plus full line-up pics. As always with Hasslefree models, they've been a pleasure to paint; some new figures for me, but also a number I've painted in the past, so always interesting to make some of them look like different characters with a different colour scheme. Anyway, here be the image dump ...
