Since finally getting the painting table back up, sorted and running again, I've been making some, granted, slow progress on the horrendous backlog of models I have to paint. Not a complaint; there are worse problems to have! As you can see, I've completed a set of four Woods Indians and, after finishing some characters - such as the Rebel/Patriot - I can make my way through a few more Woods Indian warriors. While I paint the Indians, I've also been adding to the models I list on Etsy; mostly from Badsquiddo Games and CP Models. Recently I received a fair ole chuck of metal from CP Models, made up of a nice selection of their range - some nice 20mm WWII figures, Aliens, Robots ... It turned out to be too tempting not to make a start on a couple of them. So I went straight for the three you can see here - Genie, Sultan and a Space Dwarf. I especially like the Space Dwarf for its nods to old style Warhammer Dwarves. They have a smart simplicity to them. Some wonderful sculpts...

Well, that was an interesting few months. Although not completely sorted yet, I am back in the ole place with a painting table set-up and - to all purposes -ready to go. Top, top, TOP priority is catching up with two commissions from people to have my thanks and admiration for their colossal patience. I'm far from the swiftest painter at the best of times, but having some real back-to-back zingers has been a real trial. Sick relatives, Covid, Major underfloor leak ... yup, others have had it worse, granted, but that didn't stop it being, personally, a pain. But, in the next few days I aim to actually start prep & paint on some figures, with updated posted here and Instagram. As I may have posted previously, I'm gradually winding down use of Facebook and I haven't posted to Twitter for months now, so that will eventually go to. So, here are a few quick picks of the current state of affairs ... PS. I'll also be uploading stuff on Etsy again too - a little of every...

 Nope, just a VERY short post to show-off a few more recently painted models, given that I'm still unable to setup a painting area. Just a couple here, but I was pretty pleased with the way they turned out. We have a Bunnyman, complete with their Bunnyman Bunny-Broad-axe and two native American warriors. All are from Stronghold Terrain and were a pleasure to paint.

 Berlintuesday takes an uninvited break of late, thanks to an underfloor leak that is causing more trouble than it maybe worth. Very long story short; a pipe leaked under the floor, which means most of the flooring of my current dwelling needs to be removed and sorted ... meaning a move. Not the greatest at the best of times, but needing to move out, knowing that you need to do the reverse 3-to-6 months later, 'aint much fun either. But, there you go, eh. And so, most operations have been put on hold - can't paint with the desk, paints, varnishes and models all packed and ready to go. But, in the meantime, I have been formulating a few plans for when I return ... Oooo, intriguing, I know. Well, maybe not THAT intriguing, but I'm excited and encouraged none-the-less. Apart from a slight revamp of my painting methodology and the overall way I use my humble Etsy shop, I've also been looking at making some tshirt designs. Nothing overly crazy, but some unique designs around...
