L'ng Tchun Xlvr the Space Slann Pirate

  Last year I was lucky enough to paint models specifically for the manufacturers of those models; such as Checkpoint, Great Escape Games and Bad Squiddo. And, toward the end of the year, I was sent a real gem by Indelible Inc - a Slann Pirate. The limited edition model (s culpted by Warfactory Minis and cast by Ramshackle Games ) is due to be given out at Lead & Steel 2025 , so if you're able to snag one, you'll have a cracking sculpt! As you can see, I stuck with a fairly traditional toady green for the skin and a retro colour scheme for the space suit. A number of other painters have been offered to paint this model too, so highly recommend a visit to Indelible Inc Warfactory Minis and Ramshackle 's facebook pages to see some of their work.

Cursed City Done ...

Well, a mild drop-out on posting - my fault there, no excuses. But I finally finished the selection of models from The Cursed City set. And, considering that they're probably the newest range I've painted from Gamesworkshop for a bit, I was impressed with the look of them; some great character! The Good, The Bad (Squiddo) and the Dervish

Having become ever more frustrated with Facebook and its regular talent of making even the simplest of tasks a chore, I'm (once again) determined to post more stuff here on the humble blog. I know that it really doesn't get the same number of views as Facebook, but if people stumble upon this ramshackle excuse for a blog and like the pictures and forego the ranting, I'll be more than happy. Right. Stuff. While this particular post will be a bit of a mess, with models from a selection of recent projects, I do intend to post more concise posts as I go on. But in the past few weeks I've completed a small commission of four Adventure models for #Badsquiddogames, topped-up the shop with some Stargrave Crew figures and started a chunky commission of 2000ad Strontium Dog models. So, as you can see, a real selection. As a side-note, I've dipped my toe into the use of resin for some of my basic terrain pieces. I'll post more about that another time, for now here are the ...
